Shimano: Pro 11 Mini Tool For Bicycle

Pro 11 Mini Tool

It's not just the shiny nickel finish that makes this multi-tool great—the Pro folds into a slim package that goes pretty much unnoticed in my jersey pocket. It has a great selection of tools too with 2 to 8mm hex keys, small and large Phillips screwdrivers, flat blade screwdriver, and 25T torx. We've even abused this tool in the workshop for a few weeks, and while the nickel plating has worn off the end of 3mm hex, it still functions properly. At 98 grams it's not a flyweight, but about average for a tool with its features. The only significant pitfall is that the square shape of the hex keys (which taper to hexes) are too large to access some recessed bolts, including those on the Cervelo S5. Otherwise, it has always been there for me, even surviving a few months inside a mountain bike seat bag without falling apart, like some cheaper tools tend to do. One curious touch: there's an inch- and centimeter-measurement scale on the side that we've yet to find a practical use for it on the bike.
