Trek: Speed Concept 7.8
Not a squirrelly tri bike, the 7.8 felt stable and predictable in corners, which encouraged us to spend more time in a fast position. The aero bars are adjustable, helping our testers find an appropriate fit. The tube shapes mirror those on Trek’s pro-level models, flattened quick-release levers align with the frame, and a sleek box mounts behind the seat tube, improving aerodynamics—and storing a flat kit. The Force crank has race-ready 53/39 chainrings. Trek says next year’s version is even more aero and adjustable, and places cables and a Di2 battery (on some builds) inside the frame.
