Not A Bicycle: THE “APRILIA FACTORY WORKS” PROJECT
The Aprilia Factory Works Project makes technology developed for the
world champion bike available to those who want to compete at top levels
in factory derivative championships or to those who want to have a
higher performance RSV4 optimised for track use.
All of the
Factory Works RSV4 machines are developed to be able to compete in the
Superbike championships in the various countries, with different levels
of mods in terms of chassis architecture, electronics and engine.
There are four levels available. All of the versions have the already
exceptional technical base of the Aprilia RSV4 RF: it starts with an
RSV4 optimised for the track, moving on to the SSTK version (exactly
like the bike that dominated the 2015 Superstock 1000 FIM Cup) all the
way to a Superbike.
The most extreme version is the RSV4 FW-GP,
equipped with the V4 engine with bore taken to 81 mm and pneumatic valve
timing, a configuration similar to the one Aprilia used to race in the
2015 MotoGP championship.
With the RSV4 FW-GP, Aprilia Racing also
offers special treatment for the customer in terms of assistance and
bike adjustments before, during and after purchase so that they will be
able to exploit the full potential of this extraordinary bike.
